Our instructors are working professionals


Our instructors don’t just teach writing and communication skills, they make their living from exercising those skills. From technical writing to sales proposals, from board-level presentations to documenting user requirements, every instructor has many years of experience in the field, and many are published authors and public speakers.

They have the hands-on knowledge to deal with the challenges that confront you, but more importantly, they understand that you do not work in a perfect environment, are often in a hurry and suffering from lack of time and resources and can suggest strategies to deal with these real-world challenges.

Consultancy when it matters


We believe in talking to you, before undertaking training for you. We don’t want to focus on problems you don’t have or give you exercises and examples that don’t relate to the work you need to get done.

So we talk to you before the course, ask for examples of documents that you feel don’t work, and recognise the positive and negative aspects of your documentation to make sure our training gives you the maximum benefit.

In fact, where possible, we prefer to include your own materials in our course to make certain the material we use has maximum relevance to your business.

Continuous support as standard


Your staff can contact us for extra help with anything course-related at any time after the course, free of charge and with no time limitation.

Course resources


Obviously each course comes with course notes. But each course also has a book containing reference and overview material as a final take-away, and a CD-ROM with templates, reference material and trial software relevant to the course being taught.

Course numbers


We prefer to train in small groups of 12 or less, but we recognise that there are times when our customers would like to train delegates in greater numbers.

So for courses with 24 or more delegates we add a second instructor to guarantee that delegates will have individual attention and one-on-one interaction with an instructor to deal with their challenges.
